Greetings all
Ever so often on my Landy the power to the diesel solenoid on the injector pump cuts out, thus killing the engine, after fiddling with fuses it sometimes comes back and can be started, though often when I turn off the ignition it will not cut the engine, then later it all comes back to normal, is there anyone here with a few tips for me on this problem please ?

Ian,
My other British vehicle is a 1978 MGB. Whenever I have electrical issues with it I go over the grounds to make sure that they are clean and making good contact. It is a little thing that can cause great aggravation.
My 110 has some wiring issues that I am working through. It is ex-military so used to have the convoy light switch. The first non military owner rewired to have the headlights on individual switches on a centre console. These were getting hot so I attached the 'proper' steering column switch. This works great, but I cannot turn the engine off if the lights are on... I could actually turn off the ignition and remove the key with the engine running. Only with the lights off can the engine be turned off. Brilliance or lucky mistake?
Good luck,
Colin
