1981 LAND ROVER SERIES 3 DIESEL 2.25
1981 Land Rover 2.25 Diesel with recently rebuilt engine. 4 speed transmission. Solid clean and rust free frame. Cosmetic restoration has just been finished. 205 X 16 radial tires. Free wheel hubs. Tow bar, side windows. Locking wheel nuts. Power brakes, like new interior, removable top. Excellent frame and body, never had any rust. Bulkhead is solid and foot wells look great.
This model was built in Spain by the L/R factory. From 1968 Santana began to develop its own versions of the Land Rover Series Models, developing new engines and new models. This close relationship with Land Rover led to the company to change its name from "Metalúrgica de Santa Ana, SA" to "Land Rover Santana, SA". This is a 88" Santana.
